Carmen Soo’s Biography
Carmen Soo (蘇慧敏) born and grew up in Malaysia of Chinese descent, she currently resides in Selangor, Petaling Jaya, with her family. She has a bachelor’s degree in Business Management, can speak fluent Malay, English and Mandarin, while also learning Tagalog to help her television acting career in the Philippines. She has a boutique named ‘Kushi’ is located in Bangsar.
Carmen Soo began modeling at age 17 and at age 20 moved to Hong Kong to further her modeling career, making her all over Asia, including Singapore. 156cm tall, her petite size is not conducive to catwalk modeling, so most of her shooting is often the print and TV ads. However, she had a local magazine covering the New Man, V Mag, New Tide and Nu You. She is an international brand ambassador Longines watch along with Malaysian theater personality Paula Malai Ali, and for Celcom with Singaporean singer JJ Lin. Carmen Soo is the face model Brand Ambassador of Uniqlo Malaysia.
Carmen Soo is a heroine in Ghost Child starring actor Chen Han Wei will play as Choon, a widower who experience strange things in his family, he brought home the Na Carmen Soo, a mysterious woman from Indonesia, and announced his intention to marry her. A production budget of One million U.S. dollars, 23:59 directed by Gilbert Chan, Ghost Child, will soon go into production. It will be in March next year, 2013 cinema.
